What’s Going On With C.H.I.

Hey hey, friends!  It’s been a minute, hasn’t it?!   I wanted to pop in on this gorgeous fall day and share a little bit about what’s been going on with Cate Holcombe Interiors.

I have been working hard behind the scenes on some big ideas, and it all started in July when I broke my foot.  It’s true…on the first day of our long-awaited beach vacation (literally within an hour of our arrival) I managed a complete break in the 5th metatarsal of my right foot.  That led to surgery, 4 weeks of putting absolutely no weight on it…aaaaand no driving, of course!!! ? Then another month wearing that big ole boot.  Lemme tell you: that was a challenging chapter, especially with two little girls home for the summer.  Thanks to my uber helpful family and YMCA day camps, we all survived.

At least the view was nice.

All of that unexpected down time lead to lots of brainstorming and dreaming about my business.  My goal is to bring major content and value to my followers and clients.  I want to make great design accessible to everyone I reach, no matter their budget.  I have loads of helpful tips and tricks lined up to share on this blog, Instagram, and Facebook.

To that end, I’m working on a new website that will better represent my aesthetic and my services.

Speaking of services, I am revamping and enhancing the services I offer.  My plan is to have this new site up and running by the beginning of 2018.   A designer friend and I (Claudia) are even planning a weekly Facebook Live series to answer design questions and share ideas.

If you’ve been considering having me do a consultation or room design, stay tuned!  Be sure you’re subscribed to my “newsletter” (you can do so at the bottom of any page of my website).  That way you’ll get emails keeping you in the loop.

And if you’d like to be at the top of my booking list and get an email before I publish the new content and services, just shoot me an email at cate@cateholcombe.com and let me know what you’re interested in.  I’ll start booking clients for 2018 soon.  The new year is the perfect time to refresh your home.  Let’s make it the authentic, delightful home of your dreams!

Now I’m off to plan our Thanksgiving feast.  Turkey, corn pudding, sweet potatoes, green beans, stuffing, pecan pie…what else….?

How about that yummy raw cranberry relish that your great grammy Verna made from the Buck’s County Cookbook from 1950? Fresh oranges, cranberries, sugar, and apples (with a splash of Jack Daniels). Delish!

I may have a biased opinion, but I for one, just love the way you can envision wonderful changes to someone’s home the way you do! It shows on your website with the before and after photos from your own home on this page: https://www.cateholcombe.com/transformations/2016/4/8/progress-at-acorn-hill. But then again, I’m your mum.
